Mental Health: How to Keep Players Mentally Healthy

It seems like every day we hear about the life of a young, seemingly healthy, individual is taken from our world. Most of the time, it doesn't appear to make sense why someone so vibrant would take their life. Discussing the importance of mental health and training the mind with the body is something we as coaches should incorporate into our daily observations and weekly/monthly conversations. Figuring out to make these conversations meaningful to our players and not scaring them is uncomfortable sometimes. Let's explore how to have conversations and how to pick up on unhealthy mental habits.
